Syfy Sets Premiere Date for New Drama 'Resident Alien' Starring Alan Tudyk

Syfy has today announced the premiere date for the upcoming original drama series Resident Alien starring Alan Tudyk.







The first season will premiere on Wednesday, January 27 at 10/9c.

Based on the Dark Horse comic, the drama follows Harry (Tudyk), an alien, who crash lands on Earth and passes himself off as a small-town human doctor. Arriving with a secret mission to kill all humans, he starts off living a simple life... but things get a bit rocky when he's roped into solving a local murder and realizes he needs to assimilate into his new world. As he does so, he begins to wrestle with the moral dilemma of his mission and asking the big life questions like: Are human beings worth saving?

The drama also stars Sara Tomko, Corey Reynolds, Alice Wetterlund and Levi Fiehler. 

Chris Sheridan developed the drama. He executive produces with Mike Richardson, Keith Goldberg, Justin Falvey, Darryl Frank and director David Dobkin. Universal Content Productions, Dark Horse Entertainment and Amblin Television produce.
