CBS Announces Premiere Date for New Drama 'Clarice' Starring Rebecca Breeds

CBS has today announced the premiere date for the upcoming original drama series Clarice - a sequel series to the feature film The Silence of the Lambs.

The drama starring Rebecca Breeds will begin its first season on Thursday, February 11 at 10/9c.

The series offers a deep dive into the untold personal story of FBI Agent Clarice Starling (Breeds) as she returns to the field in 1993, one year after the events of The Silence of the Lambs. Brilliant and vulnerable, Clarice's bravery gives her an inner light that draws monsters and madmen to her. However, her complex psychological makeup that comes from a challenging childhood empowers her to begin to find her voice while working in a man's world, as well as escape the family secrets that have haunted her throughout her life.

In addition to Breeds, the drama stars Michael Cudlitz, Lucca de Oliveira, Kal Penn, Nick Sandow, Devyn Tyler and Marnee Carpenter.

Alex Kurtzman and Jenny Lumet created the drama, with Elizabeth Klaviter serving as showrunner. They executive produce with Heather Kadin and director Maja Vrvilo. Aaron Baiers is a co-executive producer. MGM Television, CBS Studios and Secret Hideout produce.
