  • Michelle Pfeiffer will star opposite Viola Davis in the upcoming anthology series created by Aaron Cooley. Moreover, Susanne Bier (The Night Manager, The Undoing) has signed on to direct and executive produce the series. Pfeiffer has received three Academy Award nominations for Dangerous Liaisons in 1988, The Fabulous Baker Boys in 1989 and Love Field in 1992. She recently received Emmy and Golden Globe nominations for the HBO film The Wizard of Lies. She currently stars in the Ant-Man film franchise for Marvel Studios.
  • Pfeiffer will play Betty Ford, the First Lady of the United States from 1974 to 1977. She was active in social policy and set a precedent as a politically active presidential spouse and one of the most candid first ladies in history, commenting on every hot-button issue of the time. She also raised awareness of addiction when she made her long-running battle with alcoholism and substance abuse public.
