  • She will play Chief Petty Officer Mina Hassan, a diligent and uniquely skilled Navy Cryptologist and Special Activities Senior NCO who has developed valuable assets and built an impressive network in the Middle East. She is the liaison leading the charge with Ray (Neil Brown Jr.) on a mission to recover black market weapons in Syria.
SHOWTIME's THE FIRST LADY
  • Pamela Adlon and Rhys Wakefield have joined the cast of the upcoming anthology drama starring Viola Davis and Michelle Pfeiffer. Adlon created and stars in FX's Better Things, which has been renewed for a fifth season. Wakefield recurred on the third season of HBO's True Detective and starred in Hulu's one-season drama Reprisal.
  • Adlon will play Nancy Howe, Betty Ford's (Pfeiffer) trusted confidante and social secretary. The two are inseparable through thick and thin, from facing Betty's struggle with breast cancer to turning dusty White House traditions upside down.
  • Wakefield will play Dick Cheney, the Chief of Staff to President Gerald R. Ford. The youngest person in U.S. history to serve in that position, he is charged with convincing the American people that Ford's administration will be a departure from the stain left by Watergate.
OWN's DELILAH
  • Kelly Jacobs, Khalil Johnson and Braelyn Rankins will co-star on the upcoming drama starring Maahra Hill and Jill Marie Jones. Furthermore, LaMonica Garrett, Lyriq Bent, Joseph Callender, Michel Curiel, Nigel Gibbs, Leonard Harmon, Candace B. Harris, Gray Hawks, Joe Holt, Saycon Sengbloh and Amanda Tavarez will appear in recurring roles.
  • Jacobs will play Maia, Delilah's (Hill) teenage daughter. Smart, feisty and creative, she's confident and unafraid to speak her mind or stand up for herself. A talented violinist, she plays with the school orchestra. When she meets Miss Virginia, a renowned former violinist who offers to give Maia free lessons, she sets her sights on bigger aspirations, much to Delilah's dismay.
  • Johnson will play Dion, Delilah's nephew, her brother Nate's son. He has not had an easy life and all he wants is some stability and his absent mother's love. However, the love he's getting from his aunt is unconditional - and he's starting to feel at home.
  • Rankins will play Marcus, Delilah's son. Energetic, confident and sharp, he is a little annoyed that his 5-year-old cousin has been staying at the house - and wonders just how long he has to put up with it. Nonetheless, he is a good-natured boy who likes to have a good time. Also perceptive, when he sees his mother is distracted, he knows how to make her smile.
  • Garrett will play Casey, the Deputy Mayor of Charlotte and considered one of the most eligible men around. Charming, intelligent and professional, he is dating Delilah's best friend, Tamara Roberts (Jones).
  • Bent will play Gordon, Delilah's ex-husband and the father of their kids. Unfortunately, his good locks and charisma have caused him some problems. Despite their differences, he and Delilah must work together to coparent the kids they both love.
  • Callender will play Andre, a man who has considerable authority over Christine. He's "visiting" her apartment and claims to be a friend of both Nate and Christine. But the nature of his "friendship" with Christine looks mighty suspicious, especially to Delilah.
  • Curiel will play Jamal, Casey's handsome and single best friend. When Tamara and Casey introduce him to Delilah, he's very interested and courts her.
  • Gibbs will play Wes, the Chief of Police in Charlotte and Delilah's father. He has a long-strained relationship with his daughter which he is hoping to repair. He is also rebuilding a relationship with his son, Nate, and Delilah's not happy about it.

While he is adjusting to the VA and his new physical condition, his son, Dion, has been left in Delilah's care.
  • Harris will play Christine, Nate's estranged wife and Dion's mother. Too much of a wreck to properly care for her son, she has (briefly) entrusted Dion to Delilah's care - but "brief" is a very elastic word, and this situation is getting tighter and closer to the snapping point with every passing hour - and so is Delilah's temper.
  • Hawks will play Win, Tamara's southern and patrician boss. He likes having her on the team and entrusts her to defuse a challenge the company is facing. If she succeeds, she'll make partner at his firm.
  • Holt will play Mace, a private investigator and one of Delilah's good friends. Smart, sharp-witted, with a fun, easygoing manner, he's always the reliable friend Delilah can turn to for anything, personal or professional. When Delilah asks for his help on Leah's case, he is intrigued.
  • Sengbloh will play Leah, who has known Delilah since college, but they have fallen out of touch in the years that have passed. After suddenly ad unjustly being let go from her job, she decides to reach out to Delilah hoping her old friend will take on her case as her attorney. She is a bit rough around the edges, tired, nervous and skittish from the fallout of her firing.
