Disney+ Sets Premiere Date for New Comedy 'The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers' Starring Lauren Graham and Emilio Estevez

Disney+ has today announced the premiere date for the upcoming original comedy series The Might Ducks: Game Changers - a continuation of the '90s film franchise.

The 10-episode first season will be released on Friday, March 26.

Set in present-day Minnesota, the Mighty Ducks have evolved from scrappy underdogs to an ultra-competitive, powerhouse youth hockey team. After 12-year-old Evan Morrow is unceremoniously cut from the Ducks, he and his mom, Alex, set out to build their own team of misfits to challenge the cutthroat, win-at-all-costs culture of youth sports today. With the help of Gordon Bombay, they rediscover the joys of playing just for love of the game.

The cast includes Lauren Graham, Brady Noon, Maxwell Simkins, Swayam Bhatia, Luke Islam, Kiefer O'Reilly, Taegen Burns, Bella Higginbotham, DJ Watts and Emilio Estevez.

Steve Brill created the series, with Josh Goldsmith and Cathy Yuspa serving as showrunners. They executive produce with Estevez, Michael Spiller, James Griffiths, George Heller, Brad Petrigala, Jon Avnet and Jordan Kerner. Graham is a co-executive producer. ABC Signature and Brillstein Entertainment Partners produce.
