SHOWTIME's THE FIRST LADY
- Aaron Eckhart has been cast on the upcoming anthology drama starring Viola Davis and Michelle Pfeiffer. His film credits include starring roles in Thank You for Smoking, The Dark Knight, Olympus Has Fallen and Sully. He next stars in AMC's upcoming animated drama Pantheon.
- He will play President Gerald R. Ford, Jr. A star linebacker for the University of Michigan Wolverines, he married Betty Bloomer (Pfeiffer) in 1948 and served as a member of the House of Representatives for 25 years, holding Michigan's 5th Congressional District seat from 1949-73. He later became the only person to serve as both Vice President and President of the United States without being elected to either office by the electoral college.
TNT's SNOWPIERCER
- Archie Panjabi has joined the cast of the drama's upcoming third season. She previously starred for six seasons in CBS' The Good Wife, winning an Emmy Award for her supporting role in 2010. She currently stars in Peacock's Departure, which has been renewed for a second season.
- She will play Asha. No additional details about her character were immediately released.
HBO MAX's PEACEMAKER
- Alison Araya and Lenny Jacobson have booked recurring roles on the upcoming action comedy starring John Cena. Araya has recurred on The CW's Arrow, ABC's The Good Doctor, The CW's Riverdale and Netflix's Julie and the Phantoms. Jacobson starred in the first season of Netflix's Narcos: Mexico and currently recurs on AppleTV+'s For All Mankind.
- They will play married couple Amber and Evan, respectively.
NBC's LAW & ORDER: ORGANIZED CRIME
- Danielle Moné Truitt will co-star on the upcoming drama starring Christopher Meloni, Dylan McDermott and Tamara Taylor. She previously starred in BET's one-season drama Rebel and FOX's one-season drama Deputy.
- No details were immediately released about the character she will be playing.
