'Halo' Series Adaptation Moves from Showtime to Paramount+

After being ordered to series at Showtime, the upcoming series adaptation of the popular video game franchise Halo will move to Paramount+. The series will debut on the streaming platform (formerly known as CBS All Access) in early 2022.





The series dramatizes an epic 26th century conflict between humanity and an alien threat known as the Covenant. It weaves deeply drawn personal stories with action, adventure and a richly imagined vision of the future.

The drama stars Pablo Schreiber, Natasha McElhone, Jen Taylor, Bokeem Woodbine, Shabana Azmi, Natasha Culzac, Olive Gray, Yerin Ha, Bentley Kalu, Kate Kennedy, Charlie Murphy and Danny Sapani.

Kyle Killen developed the drama. He serves as co-showrunner alongside Steven Kane. They executive produce with Steven Spielberg, Darryl Frank, Justin Falvey, Toby Leslie, Scott Pennington, Kiki Wolfkill, Frank O'Connor, Bonnie Ross and director Otto Bathurst. Amblin Television, 343 Industries, One Big Picture and Chapter Eleven produce.
