HBO Sets Premiere Date for Season 2 of 'A Black Lady Sketch Show'

HBO has today announced the premiere date for the upcoming second season of the original sketch comedy series A Black Lady Sketch Show starring Robin Thede, Gabrielle Dennis and Ashley Nicole Black.






The 6-episode second season will debut on Friday, April 23 at 11/10c.

Joining the cast this season as featured players are Laci Mosley and Skye Townsend. Quinta Brunson - who starred in the first season - will not appear this season as a result of a schedule conflict caused by industry-wide COVID shutdown.

Guest stars for the second season include Issa Rae, Gabrielle Union, Jesse Williams, Miguel, Skai Jackson, Laz Alonso, Omarion, Kim Wayans, Ayesha Curry, Lance Gross, Wunmi Mosaku and many more.

Thede created the series. She executive produces with Issa Rae, Dave Becky, Jonathan Berry, Tony Hernandez and Brooke Posch. Lauren Ashley Smith co-executive producers, while Deniese Davis, Montrel McKay and John Skidmore produce. Jax Media, 3 Arts Entertainment and HOORAE produce.
