Casting News - March 25, 2021

Amazon's The Terminal List; The CW's All American, Batwoman & The Republic of Sarah; HBO's Untitled Lakers Drama; and Netflix's The Lincoln Lawyer.

  • Peter Outerbridge has been cast in a recurring role on the drama's second season. He previously starred in Netflix's one-season drama V-Wars. He has also recurred on The CW's Nikita, BBC America's Orphan Black, Syfy's 12 Monkeys, ABC's Designated Survivor, Amazon's The Expanse and Netflix's The Umbrella Academy.
  • He will play Roman Sionis, aka Black Mask. By day, Roman is a pragmatic and charismatic CEO who plays the "white knight" against Gotham's corrupt systems. As Black Mask, an evil mastermind with a deep hatred of The Crows and masked vigilantes, he is willing to tear downer Gotham to enact his revenge.
  • Bo Burnham and Jason Segel have joined the cast of the upcoming drama starring John C. Reilly, Jason Clarke, Adrien Brody and Sally Field. Burnham wrote and directed the 2018 feature film Eighth Grade. He recently starred in the 2020 film Promising Young Woman, which was nominated for five Academy Awards. Segel previously starred for nine seasons in CBS' How I Met Your Mother. He also created and starred in the AMC limited series Dispatches From Elsewhere (which featured Field as well).
  • Burnham will play Larry Bird, who is widely regarded as one of the best basketball players of all time. Having played his entire professional career for the Boston Celtics, he helped lead the team to three NBA Championships. His time with the team also included a legendary rivalry with the Los Angeles.
  • Segel will play Paul Westhead, a Shakespeare professor who leaves grading papers behind to be assistant coach of the Lakers. In Los Angeles, he steps into a drama straight off the Bard's page (of which he is fond of quoting).
  • Kyanna Simone has landed a recurring role on the drama's third season. She previously starred in Netflix's one-season drama Chambers and recurred in The CW's Black Lightning. She recently appeared in the Netflix film Project Power.
  • She will play Nhani Rivers, a confident, fun and energetic student at South Crenshaw High.
  • Daniel di Tomasso has booked a recurring role on the upcoming drama starring Stella Baker and Luke Mitchell. He previously starred for two seasons in Lifetime's Witches of East End and two seasons in TNT's Major Crimes. He has also recurred on NBC's Chicago Fire and The CW's Dynasty.
  • He will play Weston, a reporter who arrives in Greylock, New Hampshire to chronicle the life and times of the new nation.
  • Christopher Gorham is set as a series regular on the upcoming drama starring Manuel Garcia-Rulfo and Neve Campbell. He previously starred for five seasons in USA's Covert Affairs and two seasons in Netflix's Insatiable.
  • He will play Trevor Elliott, a brilliant but enigmatic video game mogul who stands accused of killing his wife and her lover. He turns to Mickey (Garcia-Rulfo) to take on his high-profile case.
  • Patrick Schwarzenegger will co-star opposite his real-life brother-in-law Chris Pratt in the upcoming drama also starring Taylor Kitsch and Constance Wu. He previously starred in the National Geographic limited series The Long Road Home. He recently appeared in the Netflix film Moxie.
  • He will play Donny Mitchell, a Special Warfare Operator 2nd Class. Fresh out of training, he is James Reece's (Pratt) baby-faced youngest team member. While the other guys crack jokes as a way to cope with what they've seen, Donny's feisty sense of humor is different. He's only seen the brotherhood of the SEALs in time of strength, not yet in times of suffering. As the platoon's point man, he is the first to lead the team into unsecured territory.
