Casting News - March 30, 2021

ABC's Women of the Movement; Amazon's The Peripheral; The CW's The 4400 & The Flash; and Hulu's The Dropout.

  • Jordan Fisher has been cast in a recurring role on the drama's seventh season. He previously starred in the Netflix films To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You and Work It. He also starred in FOX's live production of the musical Rent. And finally, he won the 25th season of ABC's Dancing With the Stars.
  • He will play Bart Allen aka Impulse, the fastest teenager on the planet. He is the future grandson of Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) and Iris West-Allen (Candice Patton). He has a penchant for wildly impulsive behavior so Barry and Iris will definitely have their hands full trying to teach him patience. They may have their work cut out for them to wrangle Bart, but they will have to get it together if they want to stop Team Flash's biggest threat.
  • Naveen Andrews will co-star on the upcoming limited series starring Amanda Seyfried. He previously starred for six seasons in ABC's Lost, two seasons in Netflix's Sense8 and two seasons in CBS' Instinct.
  • He will play Sunny Balwani, Elizabeth Holmes' (Seyfried) business partner and secret boyfriend throughout the rise and fall of Theranos.
  • Gil Bellows has joined the cast of the upcoming limited series starring Adrienne Warren and Glynn Turman. He previously starred in Cinemax's one-season drama Jett. He has also recurred on Amazon's Patriot and Starz's American Gods.

  • Johnson will play Ladonna, a high maintenance Miami party girl who disappeared on her 21st birthday. While she at first comes across as spoiled and vapid, she will end up tapping into her own potential in ways she never expected.
  • Jack Reynor has landed a series regular role on the upcoming drama starring Chloë Grace Moretz and Gary Carr. He previously starred for two seasons in CBS All Access' Strange Angel. He also starred in the AppleTV+ film Cherry.
