HBO Max Reveals Premiere Date for Comedy 'Made for Love' Starring Cristin Milioti, Billy Magnussen and Ray Romano

HBO Max has today announced the premiere date for the upcoming original comedy series Made for Love starring Cristin Milioti, Billy Magnussen and Ray Romano.

The first three episodes of the season will be available on Thursday, April 1. Another three episodes will be released on Thursday, April 8. The final two episodes of the season will debut on Thursday, April 15.

Based on the novel by Alissa Nutting, this darkly absurd and cynically poignant story of love and divorce follows Hazel Green (Milioti), a 30-something woman on the run after 10 years in a suffocating marriage to Byron Gogol (Magnussen), a controlling tech billionaire. Soon she discovers that her husband has implanted a monitoring device - the Made for Love chip - in her brain, allowing him to track her, watch her, and know her "emotional data" as she tries to regain her independence. Through the chip, Bryon's able to watch Hazel's every move as she flees to her desert hometown to take refuge with her aging widower father Herbert (Romano) and his synthetic partner, Diane.

The cast also includes Dan Bakkedahl, Noma Dumezweni, Augusto Aguilera and Caleb Foote.

Patrick Somerville developed the series, with Christina Lee as showrunner. They executive produce with Nutting, Dean Bakopoulos, Liza Chasin and SJ Clarkson. Director Stephanie Laing also co-executive produces. Paramount Television Studios produces.
