Starz Cancels 'American Gods' After 3 Seasons

Starz has today decided to cancel its original drama series American Gods after three seasons. The drama concluded its run on March 21, 2021. However, negotiations are underway for a potential wrap-up movie to offer resolution to the story.





The drama starred Ricky Whittle, Emily Browning, Yetide Badaki, Bruce Langley, Omid Abtahi, Ashley Reyes, Demore Barnes, Crispin Glover and Ian McShane.

Charles Eglee served as showrunner for the third season. He executive produced with McShane, Neil Gaiman, Anne Kenney, Damian Kindler, David Paul Francis, Mark Tinker, Craig Cegielski and Stefanie Berk. Fremantle produced.
