Amazon and BBC to Co-Produce 6-Part Drama 'Chloe' Starring Erin Doherty

Amazon and the BBC will co-produce the original drama series Chloe starring Erin Doherty (The Crown). The series will produce six episodes.

The drama follows Becky (Doherty), who becomes obsessed with the death of her estranged friend Chloe. She assumes a new identity to infiltrate the enviable lives of Chloe's closest friends as she attempts to establish what happened. Through her alter-ego Sasha, Becky becomes a powerful, transgressive heroine; a popular, well-connected "someone" with a life, and loves, that are far more exciting and addictive than the "no one" she is as Becky. However, the pretense soon obscures and conflates reality, and Becky risks losing herself completely.

The cast also includes Billy Howle, Pippa Bennett-Warner, Jack Farthing, Poppy Gilbert, Akshay Khanna, Brandon Michael Hall and Alexander Eliot.

Alice Seabright (Sex Education) will write and direct the series. She will executive produce with Tally Garner, Morven Reid and Ben Irving. Amazon Studios, BBC Studios and Mam Tor Productions will produce.
