Casting News - Kiara Barnes to Star in 'Fantasy Island'; Ione Skye Books Recurring Role on 'La Brea'; Plus 2 More Updates!

FOX's Fantasy Island; NBC's La Brea; Netflix's The Lincoln Lawyer; and USA's The Sinner.

  • Kiara Barnes and John Gabriel Rodriguez have been cast as series regulars on the upcoming drama created by Liz Craft and Sarah Fain. Barnes has starred on CBS' daytime soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful since 2018. Rodriguez has previously recurred on The CW's The Vampire Diaries, OWN's If Loving You Is Wrong and Freeform's Young & Hungry.
  • Barnes will play Ruby Okoro, a young woman with an old soul. Warm and wise, she arrives on Fantasy Island with a terminal illness, but Elena Roarke and the island give her a new lease on life.
  • Rodriguez will play Javier, Fantasy Island's head of transport. Rugged, handsome and charismatic, he is a pilot, mechanic and jack of all trades. While the island provides Javier refuge, as with everything else it offers, it may come at the price of a reckoning.
  • Michael Mosley has joined the cast of the drama's upcoming fourth season as a new series regular. He previously starred in the Netflix limited series Seven Seconds and in FOX's one-season drama Next. He has also recurred on Netflix's Ozark, ABC's Castle and CBS' Criminal Minds.
  • He will play Colin Muldoon, a rugged lobsterman and the devoted son of Meg Muldoon. He helped raise his niece, Percy (Alice Kremelberg), and will do anything to protect his family.
  • Ione Skye has booked a recurring role on the upcoming drama starring Eoin Macken, Natalie Zea and Jon Seda. She previously starred in the HBO limited series Camping. She has also recurred on NBC's Good Girls and FOX/Netflix's Arrested Development.
  • She will play Jessica Harris, a high-powered attorney and Gavin's (Macken) older sister. She is like a second mom to Izzy (Zyra Gorecki) and is fiercely protective of her following the sinkhole disaster.
  • LisaGay Hamilton has landed a recurring role on the upcoming drama starring Manuel Garcia-Rulfo and Neve Campbell. She previously starred for seven seasons in ABC's The Practice, two seasons in TNT's Men of a Certain Age and one season in Hulu's The First.
  • She will play Mary Holder, the presiding judge of the Los Angeles County Superior Court - the most powerful trial judge in the city and a no-nonsense jurist who doesn't suffer fools. Mickey (Garcia-Rulfo) finds himself under her strict supervision after he takes over the city's biggest murder trial.
