Casting News - Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine Lands Recurring Role on Netflix's 'The Lincoln Lawyer'; Plus 3 More Updates!

ABC's A Million Little Things; Amazon's Hunters; and Netflix's Bridgerton & The Lincoln Lawyer.

  • Charithra Chandran, Shelley Conn, Calam Lynch and Rupert Young have joined the cast of the drama's upcoming second season. Chandran stars in the upcoming second season of IMDb TV's Alex Rider. Conn starred for two seasons in ITV's Liar. Lynch has guest starred on Channel 4's Derry Girls. Young recurred for four seasons on BBC One's Merlin.
  • Chandran will play Edwina Sharma, Kate's (Simone Ashley) younger sister who first catches Anthony (Jonathan Bailey) attention. She has been taught by her older sister to be the perfect debutante. She's kind-natured and endlessly endearing. But while she may be young and naive, she also knows what she wants: a true love match.
  • Conn will play Mary Sharma, Kate and Edwina's mother. Her marriage once embroiled her and her family in scandal. Now newly returned to London with her daughters, she's forced to endure the scrutiny of the ton yet again.
  • Lynch will play Theo Sharpe, a hardworking printer's assistant. But he's not just a working class man, he's also an intellectual who fights for the rights for all.
  • Young will play Jack, the newest member of the ton with a connection to one of its most notable families - and a Bridgerton mystery.
  • Karen Robinson has booked a recurring role on the drama's third season. She previously starred for six seasons in Pop's Schitt's Creek. She has recently recurred on Netflix's Tiny Pretty Things and CBS All Access' Star Trek: Discovery.
  • She will play Florence, a sweet, maternal and confident widow whose sense of humor is dwarfed only be her sense of self.
  • Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine has landed a recurring role on the upcoming drama starring Manuel Garcia-Rulfo and Neve Campbell. He previously starred for three seasons in Showtime's The Chi. He has also recurred on HBO's Treme, Cinemax's The Knick and Amazon's Bosch.
  • He will play Raymond Griggs, an intense and tenacious LAPD detective investigating the murder of Jerry Vincent, a defense attorney whose cases Mickey Haller (Garcia-Rulfo) has taken over. While Griggs is initially an antagonist to Mickey, the two men eventually develop a wary working relationship as they each try in their own way to get to the bottom of the strange events surrounding the murder.
  • Jennifer Jason Leigh has been cast as a new series regular on the drama's upcoming second season. She currently stars in Netflix's Atypical, which returns for its fourth and final season later this year. She previously was nominated for an Academy Award in 2015 for her supporting performance in The Hateful Eight.
  • She will play Chava, a top Nazi hunter.
