Neil Cross developed the drama based on the novel by Paul Theroux. They both executive produce with Justin Theroux, Rupert Wyatt, Edward L. McDonnell, Alan Gasmer, Peter Jaysen and Bob Bookman. Fremantle Productions and Veritas Entertainment Group produce.
