Casting News - Gary Cole Joins 'NCIS'; Remi Adeleke Books Recurring Role on 'The Terminal List'; Plus 2 More Updates!

Casting News - June 22, 2021

Amazon's The Terminal List; CBS' NCIS; FOX's Our Kind of People; and Hulu's Woke.

AMAZON's THE TERMINAL LIST
  • Remi Adeleke has booked a recurring role on the upcoming drama starring Chris Pratt, Taylor Kitsch and Constance Wu. He has previously guest starred on CBS' SEAL Team. He also appeared in the Netflix film 6 Underground.
  • He will play Terrell "Tee" Daniels, a member of the FBI's elite Hostage Rescue Team, now operating on U.S. soil. The best of the best, this creatine-fueled manhunter has turned from active combat tours to domestic counter-terrorism.
CBS' NCIS
  • Gary Cole is set as a new series regular on the drama's upcoming nineteenth season. Moreover, Katrina Law has been promoted to series regular. Cole previously starred for four seasons in HBO's Veep and two seasons in ABC's Mixed-ish. Law previously appeared as a recurring guest star in the final two episodes of Season 18 - with an option to become a regular, which was officially picked up today.
  • Cole will play FBI Special Agent Alden Park. No further details were immediately announced. However, the network noted that he is not replacing Mark Harmon's Special Agent Gibbs, who is only expected to appear in a handful of episodes in the upcoming season.
  • Law plays Special Agent Jessica Knight.
FOX's OUR KIND OF PEOPLE
  • Kyle Bary will co-star on the upcoming drama starring Yaya DaCosta, Morris Chestnut and LeToya Luckett. He has previously recurred on Netflix's Ginny & Georgia.
  • He will play Quincy Dupont, Leah (Luckett) and Raymond's (Chestnut) son and Lauren's (Rhyon Nicole Brown) fraternal twin. He is an athletic and charming youth who has also been raised in wealth and privilege, but is much more down-to-earth and approachable than his spoiled sister. He is a brilliant basketball player, but when he finally approaches his father about joining a NBA prep camp over the summer, his ambitions are dismissed. He is being pressured to join the family business whether he likes it or not - and he doesn't like it.
HULU's WOKE
  • Aimee Garcia has joined the cast of the comedy's upcoming second season. She currently stars in Netflix's Lucifer, which has been renewed for its sixth and final season, and Hulu's M.O.D.O.K., which released its first season last month.
  • She will play Laura Salgado, a likable but formidable self-made Silicon Valley venture capitalist who is interested in working with Keef Knight (Lamorne Morris).
