NBC Cancels 'Good Girls' After 4 Seasons

NBC has today announced the cancellation of its original drama series Good Girls after four seasons. The drama will air its remaining five episodes throughout July.

The drama starred Christina Hendricks, Retta, Mae Whitman, Reno Wilson, Manny Montana, Lidya Jewett, Isaiah Stannard and Matthew Lillard.

Jenna Bans created the drama. She executive produced with Michael Weaver, Jeannine Renshaw, Mark Wilding and Bill Krebs. Universal Television produced.

The network and studio were unable to make a deal to produce a fifth and final season of the show. Moreover, Netflix - which currently streams all previous seasons of the show - opted against picking up the series for an exclusive season. The studio has no plans to shop the series to other outlets.
