Casting News - Alexa Davalos Set as New Series Regular on 'FBI: Most Wanted'; James Cromwell Joins 'Julia'; Plus 1 More Update!

CBS' FBI: Most Wanted; and HBO Max's DMZ & Julia.

  • Robert Joy, Erin Neufer, James Cromwell and Adriane Lenox have joined the cast of the upcoming drama starring Sarah Lancashire and David Hyde Pierce. Joy previously starred for eight seasons in CBS' CSI: NY. Neufer recurred on Netflix's Gypsy. Cromwell won an Emmy Award in 2013 for his supporting role on FX's American Horror Story: Asylum. Lenox won a Tony Award in 2005 for her performance in the play Doubt.
  • Joy will play Hunter Fox, the president of WGBH.
  • Neufer will play Marian Morash, the James Beard Award-winning chef who appeared on Julia Child's (Lancashire) cooking show and was married to producer Russ Morash.
  • Cromwell will play John McWilliams, Child's father.
  • Lenox will play Virginia Naman.
  • Alexa Davalos is set as a new series regular on the drama's upcoming third season. She previously starred for four seasons in Amazon's The Man in the High Castle.
  • She will play a new FBI agent who joins Jess' (Julian McMahon) team.
  • Rutina Wesley, Mamie Gummer, Nora Dunn, Henry G. Sanders, Venus Ariel, Jade Wu, Rey Gallegos, Agam Darshi and Juani Felix will co-star on the upcoming limited series starring Rosario Dawson and Benjamin Bratt. Wesley and Sanders currently star in OWN's Queen Sugar, which has been renewed for a sixth season. Gummer recurred on HBO's True Detective and Disney+'s The Right Stuff. Dunn starred for five seasons in NBC's Saturday Night Live. Ariel recurred on CBS' NCIS: New Orleans. Wu recurred on Netflix's Luke Cage and ABC's For Life. Gallegos recurred on TNT's Animal Kingdom and HBO Max's Generation. Darshi recurred on Audience Network's You Me Her and Syfy's The Magicians. Felix recurs on Amazon's upcoming comedy Harlem.
  • Wesley will play Athena, a calculating operative for the separatist Free States of America - and the most effective power broker in the DMZ that no one there has heard of.
  • Gummer will play Rose, a jaded medic who tirelessly cares for the ill and injured of this disenfranchised population, regardless of the cost.
  • Dunn will play Oona, a powerful fixture of near-mythical stature who oversees an all-female commune, along with the most valuable currency in all the DMZ: the water supply.
  • Sanders will play Cedric, a straight-shooting citizen of the DMZ whose only care in the world is protecting his grandson.
  • Ariel will play Nico, a foul-mouthed scavenger with a hankering for mischief.
  • Wu will play Susie, whose revolutionary past has shown her that the best of humanity can be discovered at its worst moments.
  • Gallegos will play Cesar, a ruthless and devoted consigliere who will stop at nothing to secure his gang's authority in the DMZ.
  • Darshi will play Franklin, one of the only smugglers who can get someone in or out of the DMZ.
  • Felix will play Carmen, the fearless and fiery partner to the biggest bad in the DMZ, and a critical source of power and community in her native Spanish Harlem.
