HULU's DOLLFACE
  • Luke Cook has been cast in a recurring role on the comedy's upcoming second season. He previously recurred on Netflix's Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and The CW's Katy Keene. He is currently recurring on The CW's Dynasty.
  • No details were immediately released about the character he will be playing.
SHOWTIME's THE FIRST LADY
  • Ellen Burstyn, Eliza Scanlen and Cailee Spaeny have joined the cast of the upcoming anthology drama starring Viola Davis, Michelle Pfeiffer and Gillian Anderson. Burstyn won an Academy Award in 1975 for Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore, a Tony Award in 1975 for Same Time, Next Year, and two Emmy Awards in 2009 and 2013 for NBC's Law & Order: SVU and USA's Political Animals. Scanlen starred in the HBO limited series Sharp Objects. Spaeny starred in the FX on Hulu limited series Devs and in the HBO limited series Mare of Easttown.
  • Burstyn will play Sara Delano Roosevelt, President Franklin Delano Roosevelt's (Kiefer Sutherland) mother and Eleanor Roosevelt's (Anderson) mother-in-law. Fiercely devoted to her only son, she commissioned a pair of houses as a wedding present for Franklin and his wife, on the strict condition that she could move in next to them. She had a complex and often domineering relationship with Eleanor, but the pair eventually grew close.
  • Scanlen will play young Eleanor Roosevelt. The favorite niece of President Theodore Roosevelt, she lost both of her parents at a very young age. At 15, she was sent to Allenswood Academy, where she became an independent thinking, progressive and self-confident young woman. She married her fifth cousin Franklin in 1905.
  • Spaeny will play Anna Eleanor Roosevelt, the eldest child and only daughter of President Franklin D. Roosevelt and Eleanor Roosevelt. She was a writer, newspaper editor and special aide-de-camp to her father, acting as his assistant during World War II. Beloved by both parents, Anna also carried the burden of being the peacekeeper in her parents' unconventional marriage.
NBC's ORDINARY JOE
  • Adam Rodriguez has booked a recurring role on the upcoming drama starring James Wolk. He previously starred for ten seasons in CBS' CSI: Miami and four seasons in CBS' Criminal Minds. He has also starred in the Magic Mike film franchise.
  • He will play Bobby Diaz. Charismatic and ambitious, he is a young Congressman on the rise... but the impressive life path he's forged for himself suddenly all changes in an instant.
