Emmy Predictions 2021 - Which Programs Will Likely Be Nominated for Limited or Anthology Series?

From June 17-28, 2021, voting took place for The 73rd Annual Primetime Emmy Awards. As such, it's fun to look at which actors and shows have the best chances of actually being nominated this year. So, these are my predictions for which programs will be nominated for Limited or Anthology Series.

For Limited or Anthology Series, 37 programs were submitted for consideration. That will result in five nominees in this category when the nominations are announced on Tuesday, July 13.

Programs most likely to be nominated:
  1. Netflix's The Queen's Gambit
  2. HBO's Mare of Easttown
  3. Disney+'s WandaVision
  4. Amazon's The Underground Railroad
  5. HBO's I May Destroy You
Serious threats that could break through:
  1. HBO's The Undoing
  2. Amazon's Small Axe
  3. National Geographic's Genius: Aretha
  4. FX's Fargo
  5. Showtime's The Good Lord Bird
  6. HBO Max's It's a Sin
Some considerable long-shots:
  1. Showtime's The Comey Rule
  2. Netflix's Halston
  3. FX on Hulu's A Teacher
  4. Showtime's Your Honor
  5. Amazon's Solos
  6. HBO's The Third Day
Colorful oddities that still have an outside chance:
  1. PBS' Roadkill
  2. Netflix's The Haunting of Bly Manor
  3. Amazon's Them: Covenant
  4. Netflix's Grand Army
  5. Starz's The Girlfriend Experience
  6. USA's Dirty John: The Betty Broderick Story
  7. Netflix's Behind Her Eyes
