Casting News - Anthony LaPaglia Joins Netflix's 'Florida Man'; Keith David to Narrate Season 2 of 'Love Life'; Plus 2 More Updates!

AMC's Interview with the Vampire; HBO Max's Love Life; Hulu's How I Met Your Father; and Netflix's Florida Man.

  • Anthony LaPaglia, Abbey Lee, Otmara Marrero, Lex Scott Davis, Emory Cohen and Clark Gregg have joined the cast of the upcoming drama starring Edgar Ramírez. LaPaglia previously starred for seven seasons in CBS' Without a Trace. Lee starred in HBO's one-season drama Lovecraft Country. Marrero starred for three seasons in Sony Crackle's StartUp. Davis recently starred in ABC's one-season drama Rebel. Cohen starred for two seasons in Netflix's The OA. Gregg starred for seven seasons in ABC's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
  • LaPaglia will play Sonny Valentine, Mike's (Ramírez) father, the beloved ex-police chief of this little beach town and criminal to the core.
  • Lee will play Delly West, a survivor, a chameleon, possibly a femme fatale, and exactly what Mike Valentine does not need right now.
  • Marrero will play Patsy, Mike's sister, living in Orlando, is relentlessly upbeat, churchgoing, and bravely soldiering on in the life she made too early with husband Deacon and daughter Tyler.
  • Davis will play Iris, Mike's ex-wife, and a brand-new detective with the Philadelphia Police.
  • Cohen will play Moss Yankov, Mike's boss and the lesser son of a powerful, now-dead mobster.
  • Gregg will recur as Deputy Sheriff Ketcher. Vacationing with his family at Disney World, he loses his personal weapon on day one and really wants it back.
  • Keith David will narrate the anthology comedy's upcoming second season. He previously starred for five seasons in OWN's Greenleaf. He is also a three-time Emmy Award winner for his voice-over narration in PBS' Unforgivable Blackness: The Rise and Fall of Jack Johnson, The War: A Necessary War and Jackie Robinson.
  • The new season focuses on Marcus Watkins as he comes out of a years-long relationship with the woman he thought was going to be his person. The rug pulled out from under him, he is plunged back into the search for the romantic fulfillment that he thought he had already found.
  • The new season stars William Jackson Harper, Jessica Williams, Punkie Johnson and Chris "Comedian CP" Powell. Recurring guest stars include Arian Moayed, Leslie Bibb and John Earl Jelks. First season stars Anna Kendrick, Zoë Chao, Peter Vack, Sasha Compére and Nick Thune will also appear in the new season.
  • Brandon Michael Hall has landed a recurring role on the upcoming comedy starring Hilary Duff. He previously starred for two seasons in CBS' God Friended Me - which also featured Suraj Sharma, who was cast as a series regular on the Hulu comedy earlier this week.
  • He will play Ian. Handsome, smart and funny, he is Sophie's (Duff) Tinder match who finally meets her in person for the first time.
  • Sam Reid will play the lead role in the upcoming drama developed by Rolin Jones. He previously starred in the ITV limited series Prime Suspect 1973, the Foxtel limited series Lambs of God and the SBS TV limited series The Hunting.
  • He will play Lestat de Lioncourt in the upcoming series adaptation of the series of novels by Anne Rice.
