Netflix Sets Premiere Date for New Drama 'Cowboy Bebop' Starring John Cho, Mustafa Shakir and Daniella Pineda

Netflix has today announced the premiere date for its upcoming original drama series Cowboy Bebop - a live-action adaptation of the hit Japanese anime series.

All 10 episodes of the first season will be available on Friday, November 19.

The action-packed space Western centers on three bounty hunters, aka "cowboys," all trying to outrun the past. As different as they are deadly, Spike Spiegel, Jet Black and Faye Valentine form a scrappy, snarky crew ready to hunt down the solar system's most dangerous criminals - for the right price. But they can only kick and quip their way out of so many scuffles before their pasts finally catch up with them.

The drama stars John Cho, Mustafa Shakir, Daniella Pineda, Alex Hassell and Elena Satine.

Recurring guest stars include Geoff Stults, Tamara Tunie, Mason Alexander Park, Rachel House, Ann Truong and Hoa Xuande.

Christopher Yost created the drama, with Andre Nemec serving as showrunner. They executive produce with Jeff Pinkner, Josh Appelbaum, Scott Rosenberg, Marty Adelstein, Becky Clements, Makoto Asanuma, Shin Sasaki, Masayuki Ozaki, Tim Coddington, Tetsu Fujimura, Michael Katleman, Matthew Weinberg and director Alex Garcia Lopez. Midnight Radio and Tomorrow Studios produce in association with Netflix.
