Amazon Officially Picks Up 'The Boys' Spinoff Starring Jaz Sinclair, Lizze Broadway and Aimee Carrero

Amazon has today given a series order to an untitled spinoff of its original drama series The Boys. The series has been in active development at the streaming service, with the majority of its cast assembled ahead of today's pickup.





Set at America's only college exclusively for young-adult superheroes (run by Vought International), the irreverent, R-rated drama will explore the lives of hormonal, competitive Supes as they their physical, sexual and moral boundaries to the test, competing for the best contracts in the best cities. It's part college, part Hunger Games - with all the heart, satire and raunch of The Boys.

The cast includes Jaz Sinclair, Lizze Broadway, Shane Paul McGhie, Aimee Carrero, Reina Hardesty and Maddie Phillips.

Michele Fazekas and Tara Butters will serve as showrunners. They will executive produce with The Boys creator Eric Kripke, Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, James Weaver, Neal H. Moritz, Ori Marmur, Pavun Shetty, Ken Levin, Jason Netter, Garth Ennis, Darick Robertson and Michaela Starr. Amazon Studios, Sony Pictures Television, Kripke Enterprises, Point Grey Pictures and Original Film will produce.
