Amazon's A League of Their Own; Netflix's Manifest; Paramount+'s 1883; and Spectrum's Beacon 23.





SPECTRUM's BEACON 23
  • Stephan James will play the male lead in the upcoming drama starring Lena Headey. He previously starred for two seasons in Amazon's Homecoming. He will next star in AppleTV+'s upcoming drama Surface opposite Gugu Mbatha-Raw.
  • He will play the keeper of Beacon 23, a man living in complete solitude at the edge of the universe, a condition that is eating away at his sanity. Plagued by the scars and secrets of the past, he is thrown into a tense conflict with a woman (Headey) bearing secrets as deep as his own.
NETFLIX's MANIFEST
  • Daryl Edwards and Ty Doran have been promoted to series regulars for the drama's upcoming fourth and final season. Edwards has recurred on all three previous seasons - appearing in 28 episodes to date. Doran previously guest starred in the third season finale.
  • Edwards plays NSA Director Robert Vance, who has become an ally to the Flight 828 passengers, especially Ben Stone (Josh Dallas).
  • Doran plays an older version of Cal Stone, who was played in the first three seasons by Jack Messina. The character surprisingly aged during the pivotal events of the previous season finale.
PARAMOUNT+'s 1883
  • Billy Bob Thornton will guest star on the upcoming Yellowstone prequel starring Sam Elliott, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill. He currently stars in Amazon's Goliath, which returns for its fourth and final season later this month. He previously starred in the first season of FX's Fargo.
  • He will play Marshal Jim Courtright.
AMAZON's A LEAGUE OF THEIR OWN
  • Patrick J. Adams has booked a recurring role on the upcoming comedy starring Abbi Jacobson and D'Arcy Carden. He previously starred for seven seasons in USA's Suits and in Disney+'s one-season drama The Right Stuff.
  • He will play Charlie, Carson's (Jacobson) handsome, midwestern husband, on his way home soon from fighting overseas during WWII. He's eager to return to a life back home with his wife.
