ABC's PROMISED LAND
- Bellamy Young has joined the cast of the upcoming drama starring John Ortiz. She previously starred for seven seasons in ABC's Scandal and two seasons in FOX's Prodigal Son.
- She will play Margaret Honeycroft, a hotel magnate and longtime nemesis of vineyard owner Joe Sandoval (Ortiz).
FOX's OUR KIND OF PEOPLE
- Melissa De Sousa and McKinley Freeman have been cast in recurring roles on the drama's first season. De Sousa has previously recurred on Showtime's On Becoming a God in Central Florida and The CW's Black Lightning. Freeman is currently recurring on HBO Max's Titans.
- De Sousa will play Alex Rivera, an accomplished financial reporter. Attractive and savvy, she is Raymond's (Morris Chestnut) ex-wife.
- Freeman will play Nate, Nikki's (Alana Bright) father. It's been 17 years since he last went away to prison and is surprised to see Angela (Yaya DaCosta) pay him a visit.
