THE CW's RIVERDALE
- Kiernan Shipka will reprise her Chilling Adventures of Sabrina role in an upcoming episode of the drama's sixth season. She previously starred as Sabrina Spellman in the Netflix drama, which ran for two seasons and ended in December 2020. Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa created both dramas based on the characters from Archie Comics.
- In the episode, Sabrina will assist Cheryl (Madelaine Petsch) as she performs a dangerous spell that may mean the difference between life and death for a beloved member of the Blossom family.
- Aguirre-Sacasa released the following statement on the casting: "We've been talking about having Sabrina visit Riverdale since season 1, so it's thrilling that this is finally happening, as part of our Riverdale special event. It's also perfect that she shows up to help Cheryl Blossom during her hour of greatest need. Everyone on set lost their minds - I think fans will, too. It's really fun and special."
