HBO Max Sets Premiere Date for Comedy 'Head of the Class'; Robin Givens Joins Cast Reprising Original Role

HBO Max has today announced the premiere date for its upcoming original comedy series Head of the Class inspired by the ABC sitcom that originally aired from 1986-91. Furthermore, Robin Givens (Riverdale, Batwoman) has joined the cast, reprising her role from the original series.





All 10 episodes of the first season will be available on Thursday, November 4.

The comedy revolves around a group of overachieving high school students who meet their greatest challenge - a teacher, Alicia Gomez, who wants them to focus less on grades and more on experiencing life.

Isabella Gomez, Jorge Diaz, Jolie Hoang Rappaport, Gavin Lewis, Dior Goodjohn, Brandon Severs, Adrian Matthew Escalona and Katie Beth Hall star. Christa Miller and Robin Givens guest star.

Amy Pocha and Seth Cohen created the comedy. They executive produce with Bill Lawrence, Jeff Ingold, Bill Callahan and director Phill Lewis. Liza Katzer is a co-executive producer. Warner Bros. Television and Doozer Productions produce.
