Hulu Orders Variety Series 'History of the World, Part II' Created by Mel Brooks

Hulu has today given a series order to the original variety sketch series History of the World, Part II created by Mel Brooks. Production on the 8-episode season will begin in spring 2022.

Inspired by the 1981 feature film History of the World, Part I, the series will produce parodies of various moments in history.

Brooks will executive produce with Nick Kroll, Wanda Sykes, Ike Barinholtz, David Stassen and Kevin Salter. 20th Television and Searchlight Television will produce.

"I can't wait to once more tell the real truth about all the phony baloney stories the world has been conned into believing are history!" said Brooks.
