Casting News - Jason Ralph and Blair Redford Book Recurring Roles on 'Three Women'; Daniel Dae Kim Joins 'Avatar'

Netflix's Avatar: The Last Airbender and Showtime's Three Women.






SHOWTIME's THREE WOMEN
  • Jason Ralph, Blair Redford and Jess Gabor have booked recurring roles on the upcoming drama starring Shailene Woodley, DeWanda Wise, Betty Gilpin and Gabrielle Creevey. Ralph previously starred for four seasons in Syfy's The Magicians. Redford starred for two seasons in USA's Satisfaction and two seasons in FOX's The Gifted. Gabor recurred on Showtime's Shameless.
  • Ralph will play Aaron Knodel, a teacher in North Dakota whose presence in Maggie's (Creevey) world changes the course of her life.
  • Redford will play Will, the alluring oyster farmer who threatens to upend Sloane's (Wise) perfect world.
  • Gabor will play Billie, Maggie's spunky, loyal best friend, and one of her only supporters in the community that turns on her.
NETFLIX's AVATAR: THE LAST AIRBENDER
  • Daniel Dae Kim has joined the cast of the upcoming drama starring Gordon Cormier, Kiawentiio, Ian Ousley and Dallas Liu. He previously starred for six seasons in ABC's Lost and seven seasons in CBS' Hawaii Five-0. He next stars in the upcoming second season of National Geographic's anthology series The Hot Zone: Anthrax, which debuts later this month.
  • He will play Fire Lord Ozai, the ruthlessly driven leader of the Fire Nation who demands that everyone live up to his impossible standards, especially his teenage son, Prince Zuko (Liu). His drive to conquer and unite the world under firebender rule is a family burden - he believes that it's his destiny to finish a war started by his ancestors.
