Casting News - Beverly D'Angelo to Play Carisi's Mom on 'SVU'; Adam Brody Joins 'Fleishman Is In Trouble'; Plus 6 More Updates!

AppleTV+'s Bad Monkey; The CW's All American: Homecoming; Disney+'s The Santa Clause; FX's Fleishman Is In Trouble; NBC's Law & Order: SVU; Netflix's Ginny & Georgia; Peacock's The Resort; and Starz's Power Book II: Ghost.

  • Tamberla Perry has booked a recurring role on the upcoming drama starring Geffri Maya and Peyton Alex Smith. She has previously recurred on Amazon's Bosch, ABC's How to Get Away With Murder, USA's Suits and Paramount+'s The Good Fight.
  • She will Keena Sims, the always on momager who wants her future MLB star son, Damon (Smith), back on track to The Show after choosing Bringston. However, once she sees how much Bringston is changing her son for the better, she's forced to re-examine their relationship and choices she's made.
  • Petey McGee has landed a recurring role on the drama's upcoming third season. He previously wrote, directed and starred in the short films Skin Deep and Heart of a Lion.
  • He will play Salim Ashe Freeman, a Hotep grad student and TA at an Ivy League university.
  • Elizabeth Mitchell will reprise her film franchise role in the upcoming limited series starring Tim Allen. She previously starred for four seasons in ABC's Lost, two seasons in ABC's V and two seasons in NBC's Revolution. She has also recurred on Amazon's The Expanse, ABC's Once Upon a Time and Netflix's Outer Banks.
  • She plays Carol, Scott Calvin's (Allen) wife, aka Mrs. Clause. She previously played the character in 2002's The Santa Clause 2 and 2006's The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause.
  • Adam Brody, Maxim Jasper Swinton and Meara Mahoney Gross have joined the cast of the upcoming limited series starring Jesse Eisenberg, Lizzy Caplan and Claire Danes. Brody previously starred for four seasons in FOX's The O.C. and three seasons in Crackle's StartUp. Swinton recurred on Netflix's Halston. Gross can be seen in the Netflix film Don't Look Up and the Amazon film The Tender Bar.
  • Brody will play Seth, an old friend of Toby's (Eisenberg).
  • Swinton and Gross will play Solly and Hanna, the children of Toby and Rachel (Danes).
  • Alex Moffat has been cast in a recurring role on the upcoming drama starring Vince Vaughn. He currently stars in NBC's Saturday Night Live, having joined the cast in 2016.
  • He will play Evan Shook, an obnoxious real estate developer from Maryland who has bought the land next door to Andrew Yancy (Vaughn) on a secluded promontory in Big Pine Key. He is in the process of developing a hideous spec house that's an affront to Yancy's environmentalist sensibilities. Yancy makes it his mission to scuttle Shook's plans, creating one problem after another for Shook as he desperately tries to find a buyer for his McMansion.
  • Beverly D'Angelo will guest star in an upcoming episode of the drama's 23rd season. She is best known for starring in the National Lampoon film franchise. More recently, she has recurred on CBS' Mom, USA's Shooter and Netflix's Insatiable.
  • She will play Serafina Carisi, the mother of ADA Dominick "Sonny" Carisi (Peter Scanavino).
  • Aaron Ashmore is set for a recurring role on the drama's upcoming second season. He currently stars in Netflix's Locke & Key, which has been renewed for a third season.
  • He will play Gil Timmins, Georgia's (Brianne Howey) ex-boyfriend and Austin's (Diesel La Torraca) father. When Georgia met Gil, she was drawn in by his intoxicating charm and good looks. He has been out of Georgia's life after he was charged with embezzlement and sent to jail.
  • Luis Gerardo Méndez, Nina Bloomgarden and Gabriela Cartol will star in the upcoming anthology drama created by Andy Siara. Additionally, Debby Ryan, Michael Hitchcock, Dylan Baker and Becky Ann Baker will appear in recurring roles. Méndez previously starred in the third season of Netflix's Narcos: Mexico. Bloomgarden starred in the Amazon pilot Hot Pink, which wasn't ordered to series. Cartol recurred on the Spanish drama Hernán. Ryan starred for four seasons in Disney's Jessie and two seasons in Netflix's Insatiable. Hitchcock recurred on The CW's Crazy Ex-Girlfriend and Showtime's Black Monday. Baker received three Emmy Award nominations for his recurring role on CBS' The Good Wife. Baker received an Emmy Award nomination for her recurring role on HBO's Girls.
  • Méndez will play Baltasar Frías, the head of security at the Oceana Vista Resort in 2007. He's always in detective mode, quietly suspicious of all activity, and somehow connected to all of the unusual events in 2007.
  • Bloomgarden will play Violet Thompson, who is vacationing with her father and his girlfriend at the Oceana Vista Resort.
  • Cartol will play Luna, the concierge at the Emma and Noah's resort. Prior to becoming the concierge, she was in housekeeping at the Oceana Vista Resort back in 2007 prior to its abrupt closure.
  • Ryan will play Hannah, Sam's girlfriend.
  • Hitchcock will play Ted, who's on vacation with his husband, also named Ted.
  • Baker will play Carl Knowlston, Sam's father.
  • Baker will play Jan Knowlston, Sam's mother.
