Paramount+ Sets Premiere Date for New Drama 'Halo' Starring Pablo Schreiber

In a commercial that aired during the AFC Championship, Paramount+ has today announced the premiere date for its upcoming original drama series Halo based on the video game franchise.






The 10-episode first season will debut on Thursday, March 24 with new episodes being released weekly.

The drama takes place in the universe that first came to be in 2001 with the launch of Xbox's first Halo game, which dramatizes an epic 26th-century conflict between humanity and an alien threat known as the Covenant.

The drama stars Pablo Schreiber, Natascha McElhone, Jen Taylor, Bokeem Woodbine, Shabana Azmi, Natasha Culzac, Olive Gray, Yerin Ha, Bentley Kalu, Kate Kennedy, Charlie Murphy, Danny Sapani, Ryan McParland, Burn Gorman and Fiona O'Shaughnessy.

Kyle Killen developed the drama. He served as showrunner on the first season with Steven Kane. They executive produce with Steven Spielberg, Justin Falvey, Darryl Frank, Toby Leslie, Scott Pennington, Kiki Wolfkill, Frank O'Connor, Bonnie Ross and director Otto Bathurst. Amblin Television, 343 Industries, One Big Picture and Chapter Eleven produce.
