Peacock Reveals Premiere Date for Limited Series 'Joe vs. Carole' Starring John Cameron Mitchell and Kate McKinnon

Peacock has today announced the premiere date for its upcoming original limited series Joe vs. Carole starring Tony Award winner John Cameron Mitchell (Hedwig and the Angry Inch) and Emmy Award winner Kate McKinnon (Saturday Night Live).

All 8 episodes of the limited series will be available on Thursday, March 3.

Based on the Wondery podcast "Joe Exotic," the limited series centers on Carole Baskin (McKinnon), a big cat enthusiast, who learns that fellow exotic animal lover Joe "Exotic" Schreibvogel (Mitchell) is breeding and using his big cats for profit. She sets out to shut down his venture, inciting a quickly escalating rivalry. But Carole has a checkered past of her own and when the claws come out, Joe will stop at nothing to expose what he sees as her hypocrisy. The results prove dangerous.

In addition to Mitchell and McKinnon, the limited series stars Kyle MacLachlan, Brian Van Holt, Sam Keeley, Nat Wolff, Marlo Kelly, William Fichtner, Dean Winters and David Wenham.

Etan Frankel developed the series. He executive produces with McKinnon, Alex Katsnelson, Hernan Lopez, Marshall Lewy, Aaron Hart and director Justin Tipping. Universal Content Productions and Wondery produce.
