AppleTV+ has today announced the premiere date for its upcoming original limited series The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey starring Samuel L. Jackson.

Suddenly left without his trusted caretaker and on the brink of sinking even deeper into a lonely dementia, Ptolemy is assigned to the care of orphaned teenager Robyn. In addition to Jackson, the limited series stars Dominique Fishback, Cynthia Kaye McWilliams, Damon Gupton, Marsha Stephanie Blake, Walton Goggins and Omar Miller.

Mosley adapted his novel and serves as showrunner for the limited series. He executive produces alongside Jackson, Diane Houslin, Ramin Bahrani, Eli Selden, David Levine and LaTanya Richardson Jackson. Apple Studios and Anonymous Content produce.
