Amazon's I'm a Virgo; AppleTV+'s The Crowded Room; and FOX's Accused.






APPLE TV+'s THE CROWDED ROOM
  • Emmy Rossum, Sasha Lane, Christopher Abbott and Emma Laird have joined the cast of the upcoming anthology drama starring Tom Holland and Amanda Seyfried. Rossum previously starred for nine seasons in Showtime's Shameless and next stars in Peacock's upcoming limited series Angelyne. Lane stars in Hulu's upcoming limited series Conversations with Friends. Abbott starred in the first season of USA's The Sinner and in the Hulu limited series Catch-22. Laird recently starred in the first season of Paramount+'s Mayor of Kingstown.
  • Rossum will play Candy, Danny's (Holland) mother. Through their struggles in life, she dreams of salvation in the form of someone else.
  • Lane will play Ariana, Danny's closest friend and ally. Together they seek revenge for the pains of their past.
  • Abbott will play Stan, Danny's lawyer and a Vietnam veteran processing the trauma from his past.
  • Laird will play Isabel, Danny's friend from high school. She recognizes his talent and heart in a way no one else does.
AMAZON's I'M A VIRGO
  • Brett Gray, Kara Young, Allius Barnes and Olivia Washington have been cast as series regulars on the upcoming comedy starring Jharrel Jerome. Additionally, Mike Epps and Carmen Ejogo are set to recur. Gray previously starred for four seasons in Netflix's On My Block. Young guest starred on Netflix's The Punisher and HBO's Random Acts of Flyness. Barnes starred in the first season of Freeform's Cruel Summer. Washington recurred on USA's Mr. Robot and Netflix's She's Gotta Have It. Epps currently stars in Netflix's The Upshaws, which has been renewed for a second season. Ejogo currently stars in Showtime's Your Honor, which has been renewed for a second season.
  • Gray will play Felix, Cootie's (Jerome) best friend.
  • Young will play Jones, a community organizer.
  • Barnes will play Scat, who grew up with Felix and Cootie in Oakland, California.
  • Washington will play Flora, an aspiring cook.
  • Epps will play Martisse.
  • Ejogo will play Lafrancine.
FOX's ACCUSED
  • Michael Chiklis will headline the premiere episode of the upcoming anthology drama - which features a unique story structure. He won an Emmy Award in 2002 for his lead performance in FX's The Shield, which he starred in for seven seasons. He also starred for one season in FX's American Horror Story and two seasons in FOX's Gotham. He appears in HBO's upcoming drama Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty, which debuts next month.
  • He will play Dr. Scott Corbett, a successful brain surgeon with a seemingly perfect family. He faces the limits of unconditional love when he discovers his teenage son may be planning a violent attack at school.
