DISNEY+'s NATIONAL TREASURE
  • Catherine Zeta-Jones has been cast as a series regular on the upcoming drama starring Lisette Alexis. She won an Academy Award in 2003 for her supporting performance in Chicago and a Tony Award in 2010 for her performance in the musical A Little Night Musical. On television, she starred in the FX limited series Feud: Bette and Joan, recurred on FOX's Prodigal Son and appears in Netflix's upcoming drama Wednesday.
  • She will play Billie, a badass billionaire, black-market antiquities expert, and treasure hunter who lives by her own code. She transformed herself from a penniless orphan to a shrewd, stylish businesswoman and adventurer. She's used to getting what she wants - and she wants the Pan-American treasure. But not just for the money. This treasure has deeper stakes for her.
DISNEY+'s AMERICAN BORN CHINESE
  • Michelle Yeoh, Ben Wang, Yeo Yann Yann, Chin Han, Daniel Wu, Ke Huy Quan, Jim Liu and Sydney Taylor will star in the upcoming comedy created by Kelvin Yu and Charles Yu. Yeoh starred in the Marvel film Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, who will also direct the comedy. Wang previously guest starred on CBS' MacGyver and TBS' The Last O.G. Yann received an International Emmy Award nomination in 2020 for her performance in the Singapore series Invisible Stories. Han appeared in the 2021 film Mortal Kombat. Wu starred for three seasons in AMC's Into the Badlands. Quan appeared in the 2021 film Finding 'Ohana. Liu is a former Taekwondo champion. Taylor starred in Amazon's Just Add Magic: Mystery City.
  • Yeoh will play Guanyin, an unassuming auntie, who helps her nephew Wei-Chen navigate the challenges of American high school while maintaining her secret identity as the all-powerful Buddhist bodhisattva of Compassion.
  • Wang will play Jin Wang, an American teen whose parents immigrated from Taiwan, who is struggling to carve out exactly who he's suppose to be socially and culturally.
  • Yann will play Christine Wang, Jin's mother, a strong-willed, opinionated woman with a sly wit, who loves her family deeply.
  • Han will play Simon Wang, Jin's father, a hard-working, devoted father and husband who is bumping up against the "bamboo ceiling" at his job.
  • Wu will play Sun Wukong, the Monkey King, the legendary, all-powerful god of the Chinese epic Journey to the West, who enters our world in search of his son.
  • Quan will play Freddy Wong, a fictional character from a popular mid-1990s sitcom.
  • Liu will play Wei-Chen, Jin's confident friend, a teen who has just arrived in the United States, whose sweet demeanor belies the deeper mystery of his true identity.
  • Taylor will play Amelia, a friendly "All-American" girl who is Jin's classmate and crush.
DISNEY+'s THE CROSSOVER
  • Daveed Diggs will narrate the upcoming drama starring Jalyn Hall and Amir O'Neil. He currently stars in TNT's Snowpiercer, which is now airing its third season and has been renewed for a fourth. He previously won Tony and Grammy Awards for his performance in the musical Hamilton.
  • He will play Adult Josh - played as a teenager by Hall. He details the story of his and his brother's (O'Neil) coming-of-age, on and off the court, as their former professional basketball player father adjusts to life after basketball, and their mother finally gets to pursue dreams of her own.
DISNEY+'s BEAUTY AND THE BEAST
  • Rita Ora has joined the cast of the upcoming limited series starring Josh Gad, Luke Evans and Briana Middleton. The British singer has released two studio albums - 2012's Ora and 2018's Phoenix. As an actress, she appeared in the Fifty Shades of Grey film franchise.
  • She will play a fugitive with surprising abilities who carries with her a secret that could potentially affect an entire kingdom.
APPLE TV+'s THE BIG DOOR PRIZE
  • Djouliet Amara, Ally Maki and Crystal Fox are set as series regulars on the upcoming comedy starring Chris O'Dowd. Amara recurred on Paramount+'s Guilty Party and stars in Netflix's upcoming limited series Devil in Ohio. Maki starred for three seasons in TBS' Wrecked. Fox starred for eight seasons in OWN's The Haves and the Have Nots.
  • Amara will play Trina, Dusty (O'Dowd) and Cass' (Gabrielle Dennis) incredibly bright, sarcastic daughter, who is privately dealing with an intense cocktail of grief and guilt.
  • Maki will play Hana, who works as a bartender at The Bedford Bar. She is a keen observer of human nature, but maintains an emotional distance from most of Deerfield's residents, until she is unexpectedly drawn into the center of their drama.
  • Fox will play Izzy, Cass' charismatic and attention-seeking mother. She is a former dancer and the longest-serving mayor in Deerfield's history.
THE CW's TOM SWIFT
  • Ashleigh Murray will co-star on the upcoming Nancy Drew spinoff starring Tian Richards. She previously starred for three seasons in The CW's Riverdale and its one-season spinoff Katy Keene.
  • She will play Zenzi Fullerton, who is efficient and effervescent, but nobody's fool. She's been Tom Swift's (Richards) best friend since childhood and considers him family - and she's one of the few people who can keep up with Tom and read him for filth when necessary.
