Showtime Renews 'Super Pumped' for Season 2

Showtime has today renewed its original anthology drama series Super Pumped for a second season. The renewal comes ahead of the series launch on Sunday, February 27 at 10/9c.

Each season of the anthology format will explore a story that rocked the business world to its core and changed culture, featuring an entirely new cast of actors.

The first installment - centering on the rise of Uber - stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Kyle Chandler, Elisabeth Shue, Kerry Bishé, Jon Bass, Bridget Gao Hollitt, Babak Tafti and Uma Thurman.

Brian Koppelman, David Levien and Beth Schacter created the anthology drama. They executive produce with Paul Schiff, Stephen Schiff and Allyce Ozarski.

The second installment will provide a deep dive into Facebook's transition from groundbreaking startup to the power it has become. It will focus on the relationship at the center of that metamorphosis - between Sheryl Sandberg and Mark Zuckerberg - and the world-changing forces unleashed, intentionally and unintentionally, as a result.

Both seasons are based on books written by Mike Isaac.
