AppleTV+ Reveals Premiere Date for New Drama 'Slow Horses' Starring Gary Oldman

AppleTV+ has today announced the premiere date for its upcoming original drama series Slow Horses starring Academy Award winner Gary Oldman (Darkest Hour).






The 6-episode first season will premiere on Friday, April 1 with its first two episodes. New episodes will then be released every Friday until the season finale on April 29.

Based on the novel by Mick Herron, the drama follows a team of British intelligence agents who serve in a dumping ground department of MI5 - Slough House. Oldman stars as Jackson Lamb, the brilliant but irascible leader of the spies who end up in Slough House due to their career-ending mistakes.

In addition to Oldman, the drama stars Kristin Scott Thomas, Jonathan Pryce, Jack Lowden and Olivia Cooke.

Will Smith developed the drama, with James Hawes directing all six episodes. They executive produce with Graham Yost, Jamie Laurenson, Hakan Kousetta, Iain Canning, Emile Sherman, Gail Mutrux and Douglas Urbanski. See-Saw Films produces.
