Peacock Sets Premiere Date for Limited Series 'Angelyne' Starring Emmy Rossum

Peacock has today announced the premiere date for its upcoming original limited series Angelyne starring Emmy Rossum (Shameless).







All 8 episodes of the limited series will be available on Thursday, May 19.

The limited series centers on fame, identity, survival, billboards, Corvettes, lingerie, men, women, women teasing men, men obsessed with women, West Hollywood, crystals, UFOs, and most importantly of all, the self-proclaimed Rorschach test in pink, glow-in-the-dark queen of the universe, Angelyne (Rossum).

In addition to Rossum, the cast includes Martin Freeman, Alex Karpovsky, Hamish Linklater, Charlie Rowe, Lukas Gage, Michael Angarano, Molly Ephraim, Philip Ettinger, Antjuan Tobias, Tonatiuh and David Krumholtz.

Allison Miller developed the series based on an article in The Hollywood Reporter by Gary Baum, who is a consultant on the series. She executive produces with Rossum, Sam Esmail, Chad Hamilton and director Lucy Tcherniak. Universal Content Productions, Esmail Corp, Anonymous Content and Composition 8 produce.
