NBC's UNBROKEN
  • Scott Bakula will play the lead role in the drama pilot written by Shaun Cassidy. He previously starred for five seasons in NBC's Quantum Leap, four seasons in UPN's Star Trek: Enterprise, two seasons in TNT's Men of a Certain Age and seven seasons in CBS' NCIS: New Orleans.
  • He will play Ash Holleran, a retired saddle bronc rodeo champion who's desperate to hold on to the California ranch that's been in his family for generations. With neighbors encroaching, and his winery and trail riding businesses barely turning a profit, Ash and his extended family will be forced to dig deep to find a road back to the life they once knew.
CBS' EAST NEW YORK
  • Amanda Warren will star in the drama pilot written by William Finkelstein and Mike Flynn. She previously starred in the first season of HBO's The Leftovers, the first season of USA's The Purge and the third season of AppleTV+'s Dickinson.
  • She will play Regina Haywood, the newly promoted deputy inspector of East New York, an impoverished, working-class neighborhood at the eastern edge of Brooklyn. She leads a diverse group of officers and detectives, some of whom are reluctant to deploy her creative methods of serving and protecting during the midst of social upheaval and the early seeds of gentrification. For former street cop Regina, sharply dressed and serious about her job, her father and her dog are the only two souls with whom she can be fully vulnerable.
THE CW's WALKER: INDEPENDENCE
  • Katherine McNamara is set as the female lead opposite Matt Barr in the drama pilot written by Seamus Fahey. She previously starred for three seasons in Freeform's Shadowhunters and in the eighth season of The CW's Arrow.
  • She will play Abby, a tough-minded woman from Boston's high society who is moving across the country with her husband to a new life in Independence, Texas. After her husband is killed by a horse thief in the night, Abby wanders grief-stricken through the brush and finally into the town of Independence. She takes on the name of "Walker" and sets about building her strength (personal and financial), because she's going to be the first Walker to go to war against overwhelming odds.
