CBS' Cal Fire and NBC's Quantum Leap.

  • Diane Farr, Jordan Calloway, Stephanie Arcila and Jules Latimer will co-star on the drama pilot starring Max Thieriot. Farr previously starred for three seasons in CBS' Numb3rs and two seasons in ABC's Splitting Up Together. Calloway starred for three seasons in The CW's Black Lightning. Arcila recurred on Showtime's Penny Dreadful: City of Angels. Latimer starred in the first season of Paramount+'s Guilty Party.
  • Farr will play Cheryl, a take-charge executive on the Cal Fire board who is the smartest person in any room. After years of firefighting in the field, she now manages frequent clashes over allocating resources over 400 Cal Fire stations. She and her loving husband have been weathering the storm of a major loss, when to her shock, the mystery of a more recent heartbreak may finally be resolved.
  • Calloway will play Jake, an affable firefighter whose charm masks a guilty conscience. He's in love with Arabella. However, his complicated history and an explosive secret from his past may threaten his reputation and relationship.
  • Arcila will play Arabella, the daughter of fire captain Manny Robles (Kevin Alejandro) and in love with Jake. Even though she has spent most of her time in Florida training, she is the town's reluctant golden girl, a champion diver who choked at the Tokyo Olympics and finished 14th. She loves the camaraderie and feeling of family she gets from being a part of the town as opposed to the solitude of diving.
  • Latimer will play Everly, a tenacious firefighter who prides herself on being fearless, but she regularly sobs at commercials. She fights side by side with childhood friend Jake on the fire lines. She has been dating her girlfriend Maya for two years and she may just be ready to take the next step.
  • Ernie Hudson has been cast as a series regular on the drama pilot reboot starring Raymond Lee. He currently stars in BET+'s The Family Business, which has been renewed for a fourth season. He previously starred for two seasons in Spectrum's L.A.'s Finest and recurred on Netflix's Grace and Frankie.
  • He will play Herbert "Magic" Williams, a Vietnam veteran and head of the time travel project at Quantum Leap. Using a bit of politicking and his military know-how to keep the Pentagon at bay, He buys the team some time to rescue Dr. Ben Seong (Lee) but expects answers once he's back.
