The 8-episode second season will premiere on Thursday, May 5 with its first three episodes. New episodes will then be released weekly every Thursday until the season finale on June 9.
The new season sees Dawn, Wickie, Gloria and Summer enter "album mode" and embark on making their first studio album on their own terms.
The comedy stars Sara Bareilles, Busy Philipps, Paula Pell and Renée Elise Goldsberry.
Meredith Scardino created the comedy. She executive produces with Tina Fey, Robert Carlock, Jeff Richmond, David Miner and Eric Gurian. Universal Television, Little Stranger and 3 Arts Entertainment produce.
