Netflix Announces Premiere Date for New Drama 'Heartstopper' Starring Joe Locke and Kit Connor

Netflix has today announced the premiere date for its upcoming original drama series Heartstopper based on the graphic novel by Alice Oseman.







All 8 episodes of the first season will be available on Friday, April 22.

When gentle Charlie and rugby-loving Nick meet at secondary school, they quickly discover that their unlikely friendship is blossoming into an unexpected romance. Charlie, Nick and their circle of friends must navigate the ever relatable journey of self discovery and acceptance, supporting each other as they learn to find their most authentic selves.

The drama stars Joe Locke, Kit Connor, Yasmin Finney, William Gao, Corinna Brown, Kizzy Edgell, Cormac Hyde-Corrin, Tobie Donovan, Rhea Norwood and Sebastian Croft.

Oseman developed the drama. She executive produces with Patrick Walters, Jamie Laurenson, Hakan Kousetta, Iain Canning, Emile Sherman, Zorana Piggott and director Euros Lyn. See-Saw Films produces.
