Amazon Announces Premiere Date for New Comedy 'The Outlaws' Starring Stephen Merchant and Christopher Walken

Amazon has today announced the premiere date for its upcoming original comedy series The Outlaws starring Stephen Merchant and Christopher Walken.

All six episodes of the first season will be available on Friday, April 1. The comedy has already been renewed for a second season.

The comedy follows a disparate group of lawbreakers thrown together to complete a community service sentence. Seven strangers from different walks of life - people who would never normally interact - are forced to work together to renovate a derelict community center. They resent the menial physical labor and they resent each other. But when one of them gets dragged into a dangerous world of organized crime, they unite in ways none of them thought possible.

In addition to Merchant and Walken, the comedy stars Rhianne Barreto, Gamba Cole, Darren Boyd, Clare Perkins, Eleanor Tomlinson and Jessica Gunning.

Merchant co-created the comedy with Elgin James. They executive produce with Luke Alkin, Kenton Allen and Matthew Justice. Amazon Studios, BBC Studios, Big Talk Productions and Four Eyes Entertainment produce.
