Casting News - Peacock's 'Poker Face' Adds Benjamin Bratt; Matilda Lawler Joins Disney+'s 'The Santa Clause'

Casting News - April 20, 2022

Disney+'s The Santa Clause and Peacock's Poker Face.

DISNEY+'s THE SANTA CLAUSE
  • Matilda Lawler has joined the cast of the upcoming limited series starring Tim Allen and Elizabeth Mitchell. She previously starred in the HBO Max limited series Station Eleven.
  • She will play Betty, Santa's (Allen) acerbic, demanding Chief of Staff. Always the smartest elf in the room, she's tasked with wrangling Santa while also making sure the reindeer fly on time. Just a bit humorless, Betty is a job-oriented Elf.
PEACOCK's POKER FACE
  • Benjamin Bratt has been cast as a series regular on the upcoming drama starring Natasha Lyonne and Joseph Gordon-Levitt. He recently starred in the HBO Max limited series DMZ. He previously starred for four seasons in NBC's Law & Order, two seasons in ABC's Private Practice and two seasons in FOX's Star.
  • As with all previous casting, no details were immediately announced about the character he will be playing.
