AppleTV+'s Lady in the Lake; HBO's Demimonde; Hulu's Ramy; and Peacock's The Missing & Poker Face.





PEACOCK's POKER FACE
  • Adrien Brody has joined the cast of the upcoming drama starring Natasha Lyonne and Joseph Gordon-Levitt. He won an Academy Award in 2002 for his lead performance in the film The Pianist. He currently stars in Epix's Chapelwaite (which aired last summer and has not yet been renewed) and HBO's Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty (which has been renewed for a second season).
  • As with all previous casting, no details were immediately announced about the character he will be playing.
HBO's DEMIMONDE
  • Danielle Deadwyler will play the lead role in the upcoming drama created by J.J. Abrams. She previously recurred on HBO Max's Station Eleven and starred in the Netflix film The Harder They Fall. She will next appear in Netflix's upcoming limited series From Scratch and in the feature film Till.
  • She will play Olive Reed. Torn away from her husband and daughter in a brutal scientific accident, Olive is forced to unravel a conspiracy to reunite with her family, now lost to a dark, distant other world.
APPLE TV+'s LADY IN THE LAKE
  • Y'lan Noel, Mikey Madison and Brett Gelman will co-star on the upcoming limited series starring Natalie Portman and Lupita Nyong'o. Noel previously starred for two seasons in HBO's Insecure. Madison starred for five seasons in FX's Better Things, which aired its series finale last night. Gelman stars in the upcoming fourth season of Netflix's Stranger Things.
  • No details were immediately announced about the characters they will be playing.
PEACOCK's THE MISSING
  • Steven Pasquale, Stephanie Szostak, Tony Curran and Noel Fisher have landed recurring roles on the upcoming drama starring Jeff Wilbusch and Juliana Canfield. Pasquale previously starred for seven seasons in FX's Rescue Me and in the Spectrum limited series The Bite. Szostak starred for three seasons in ABC's A Million Little Things. Curran recurred on Showtime's Your Honor and The CW's The Flash. Fisher previously starred for five seasons in Showtime's Shameless.
  • No details were immediately announced about the characters they will be playing.
HULU's RAMY
  • Julian Sergi has booked a recurring role on the comedy's upcoming third season. He previously guest starred on Comedy Central's Key & Peele and Netflix's Grace and Frankie.
  • He will play Yuval, Ramy's (Ramy Youssef) new business partner.
