AppleTV+'s Dear Edward, The Last Thing He Told Me & Shrinking; FX's Retreat; Hulu's Reasonable Doubt; and Peacock's A Friend of the Family.





PEACOCK's A FRIEND OF THE FAMILY
  • Austin Stowell, Patrick Fischler, Bree Elrod and Philip Ettinger have joined the cast of the upcoming limited series starring Anna Paquin. Stowell previously starred in the Hulu limited series Catch-22. Fischler starred for two seasons in Syfy's Happy!. Elrod starred in the 2021 film Red Rocket. Ettinger recurred on HBO's I Know This Much Is True.
  • Stowell will play FBI Agent Pete Welsh, a young investigator dead set on returning Jan Broberg (Mckenna Grace) to her family. As a father himself, he invests in Jan's case and grows frustrated by Robert Berchtold's (Jake Lacy) ability to continue manipulating everyone around him.
  • Fischler will play Garth Pincock, Bannock County's seasoned district attorney. A Mormon, he leads the state's prosecution against Berchtold, coaching the Brobergs and becoming increasingly baffled by the failures of the justice system.
  • Elrod will play Jennifer Ferguson, a friendly local lawyer and longtime customer of the Brobergs' flower shop. A seeming ally at first, her relationship to the Brobergs becomes complicated when she takes on Berchtold as a client.
  • Ettinger will play Joe Berchtold, a used car salesman who is forced into a tough position when his older brother kidnaps Jan Broberg. Despite his discomfort with his brother's abduction of a 12-year-old girl, Joe remains close with him, even as he agrees to cooperate with the FBI.
APPLE TV+'s THE LAST THING HE TOLD ME
  • Angourie Rice has been cast as the co-lead opposite Jennifer Garner in the upcoming limited series created by Laura Dave and Josh Singer. She previously starred in the HBO limited series Mare of Easttown. She also stars in the Spider-Man film franchise headlined by Tom Holland.
  • She will play Bailey, Hannah's (Garner) stepdaughter.
APPLE TV+'s DEAR EDWARD
  • Brian d'Arcy James has booked a recurring role on the upcoming drama starring Connie Britton and Taylor Schilling. James has received three Tony Award nominations for his performances in the musicals Sweet Smell of Success, Shrek the Musical and Something Rotten.
  • He will play Edward's (Colin O'Brien) father.
APPLE TV+'s SHRINKING
  • Jessica Williams will play the female lead in the upcoming comedy starring Jason Segel and Harrison Ford. She recently starred in the second season of HBO Max's Love Life. She also stars in the Fantastic Beasts film franchise, which releases its third film this month.
  • She will play Gaby, a therapist working in the practice with Jimmy (Segel) and Dr. Phil Rhodes (Ford). She's all in on anything she's passionate about, including her friend Jimmy, who she cares for and respects.
HULU's REASONABLE DOUBT
  • Victor Rasuk, Christopher Cassarino, Brooke Lyons and Eugene Byrd have landed recurring roles on the upcoming drama starring Emayatzy Corinealdi. Rasuk previously starred in ABC's one-season dramedy The Baker and the Beauty. Cassarino recurred on Disney+'s The Right Stuff and NBC's New Amsterdam. Lyons starred in The CW's one-season drama Life Sentence and NBC's one-season drama Lincoln Rhyme. Byrd recurred on FOX's Bones and The CW's Arrow.
  • Rasuk will play Mike Llanas, an overzealous District Attorney, a man who lives and dies for his work. He and Jax (Corinealdi) went to law school together and have a history as rivals.
  • Cassarino will play Rich, an attorney at the same firm where Jax works, dealing mostly with contracts and litigation. He clashes with Jax during a huge case.
  • Lyons will play Sarah, the wife of multi-millionaire Braydon Mitchell (Sean Patrick Thomas). She is well-educated and gave up everything to support her husband.
  • Byrd will play CJ, Damon's (Michael Ealy) brother, who feels betrayed when Damon questions him about conducting other business at the auto-shop while Damon was in jail.
FX's RETREAT
  • Daniel Olson and Britian Seibert are set for recurring roles on the upcoming limited series starring Emma Corrin, Brit Marling and Clive Owen. Olson guest starred on HBO Max's Our Flag Means Death. Seibert guest starred on Cinemax's The Knick.
  • Olson will play Tomas. Seibert will play Eva.
