FX Announces Premiere Date for New Drama 'The Old Man' Starring Jeff Bridges

FX has today announced the premiere date for its upcoming original drama series The Old Man starring Jeff Bridges.







The 7-episode first season will debut on Thursday, June 16 at 10/9c. with back-to-back episodes. New episodes will be available to stream on Hulu the following day.

Based on the novel by Thomas Perry, the drama centers on Dan Chase (Bridges), who absconded from the CIA decades ago and has been living off the grid since. When an assassin arrives and tries to take Chase out, the old operative learns that to ensure his future he now must reconcile his past.

In addition to Bridges, the drama stars John Lithgow, Alia Shawkat, Amy Brenneman, E.J. Bonilla, Gbenga Akinnagbe, Bill Heck, Leem Lubany and Pej Vahdat.

Jonathan E. Steinberg and Robert Levine developed the drama. They executive produce with Bridges, Warren Littlefield, Dan Shotz, David Schiff and director Jon Watts. 20th Television and The Littlefield Company produce.
