Hulu's The Handmaid's Tale; NBC's Law & Order; and Netflix's Kaos.






NETFLIX's KAOS
  • Aurora Perrineau has been cast as a series regular in the upcoming drama created by Charlie Covell. She previously starred in the Netflix limited series When They See Us and for two seasons in FOX's Prodigal Son. She will next be seen recurring on the upcoming fourth season of HBO's Westworld.
  • She will play Riddy.
HULU's THE HANDMAID'S TALE
  • Alexis Bledel is leaving the cast of the drama ahead of its upcoming fifth season. She has appeared in all four seasons as Emily, receiving four Emmy Award nominations for her performance and winning in 2017. She previously starred for seven seasons in The WB/The CW's Gilmore Girls as well as its Netflix limited series follow-up.
  • Bledel released the following statement on her exit: "After much thought, I felt I had to step away from The Handmaid's Tale at this time. I am forever grateful to Bruce Miller for writing such truthful and resonant scenes for Emily, and to Hulu, MGM, the cast and crew for their support."
NBC's LAW & ORDER
  • Anthony Anderson has decided to exit the cast of the drama after one season of its revived run. He starred for three seasons from the original run of the drama before signing a one-year deal to return for the 21st season earlier this year. He has opted to move on after helping successfully bring the show back to primetime with Dick Wolf and Sam Waterston. He also recently wrapped his eight-season starring role on ABC's Black-ish.
  • He played Detective Kevin Bernard. The recent season finale offered no indication that the character would be leaving.
