CBS Gives Series Order to Drama 'True Lies' Starring Steve Howey and Ginger Gonzaga

CBS has today given a series order to the original drama series True Lies based on the 1994 feature film starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jamie Lee Curtis. The series is targeted for midseason on the broadcast network's upcoming 2022-23 schedule.





Shocked to discover that her bland and unremarkable computer consultant husband is a skilled international spy, an unfulfilled suburban housewife is propelled into a life of danger and adventure when she's recruited to work alongside him to save the world as they try to revitalize their passionless marriage.

The drama will star Steve Howey, Ginger Gonzaga, Erica Hernandez, Omar Miller, Mike O'Gorman, Annabella Didion and Lucas Jaye.

Matt Nix wrote the pilot, which was directed by Anthony Hemingway. They will executive produce with James Cameron, Rae Sanchini, McG, Mary Viola, Corey Marsh and Josh Levy. Sean Hoagland and Whitney Davis will co-executive produce. 20th Television, Flying Glass of Milk Productions, Anthony Hemingway Productions, Lightstorm Entertainment and Wonderland Sound & Vision will produce.
